The Return of the stainless steel wonder. I have a friend who drives one, but hates Back to the Future. He actually likes the car on independent grounds. Go figure.

Soft science is killing me softly with its song...

So I am sitting in class...again. This time, it is "Communication and Conflict", not to be confused with "Cross Cultural Conflict Resolution" or "Social Psychology of Conflict", two other classes that, so far, this class has drawn quite heavily from. Makes me wonder if I'm really getting the most bang for my blood-debt loaned buck. But someone help me out here, because I am having trouble taking seriously the ramblings of an academic who specialized in the vastly verbose landscape of social science.

I absolutely stink at math, but I wish I didn't. Hard sciences seem to have a comfortable sense of certainty. Soft science literature is laced with big esoteric words used to describe simple, often common-sense phenomena, and often social theories can never fully explain the complexities of human relationships. Right? Help me see otherwise, because I am feeling academically fatigued.
